Razor sharp shards of reality stream through my window,

Stabbing me in the eyes as I try to remember the day,

Painful memories overwhelm my blocking them out,

Destroying floodgates, letting memories rage; then I remember.

What is morning, some sort of evil, cruel punishement?

I cling to my protective covers, but my legs betray,

As night surrenders its shadows to the light, I’m erect.

Standing on pillars of Jello, I wobble to my life.

My world has shrunk to the size of my PC.
