Robot Nation

The world’s getting colder every second
We’ve got oil flowing through our veins
The words that once were spoke are now on screens
Why talk to people when you could talk to machines?

Our robot nation keeps on worrying
About the world of tomorrow
No place for fun and games or social lives
Our robot nation has no time for love or affection

CHORUS x2
So stand up x3
For humanity still lives on Earth
So speak up x3
Let it be known that we cannot live our lives like this

There once was a time when I was young
When the radio played what was real
But now the computers are making hits
Spewing their phony voices from human mouths

Our robot nation should learn how to laugh
Yeah money sure is great but not life’s meaning
Now there is no such thing as family
Our robot nation cannot stop, not even for a minute

CHORUS x2

But who cares about the people
We’ve got something better: the technology

Our robot nation keeps on worrying
Our robot nation has no time
Our robot nation should learn how to laugh
Our robot nation cannot stop

Our robot keeps on worrying (who care about people)
Our robot nation has no time (we’ve got technology)
Our robot nation should learn how to laugh (who cares about people)
Our robot nation cannot stop

CHORUS

But who cares about the people
We’ve got something better: the technology

Our robot nation cannot stop
