sad but true!

Sad Old Days Are Here Again

'Sad old day's are here again,

The same old shit is tried again,

sad old days are here again!'

******

Something tried and untrue is in the air,

trickle down voodoo, voter beware

It comes charging out of their delusional dreams,

this time will be different, spouts the GOP

Nothing ever changes, playing us for fools,

peddling the same old poison, the deep-red tools

Why do they insist this time it'll magically work?

They grab us by our gullible and give it a jerk

See them smile as they screw themselves into the ground,

trying to justify their impossible magic suddenly found

You know they're full of shit, I know they're full of shit,

yet they keep on saying it--gullibles and voodoo, a perfect fit!

Dr. Acula the friendly Ghost

Pretty sure lisbeth meant 'you have a knack" for this :p

Love the poetic imagery in your words. Makes me feel, not so alone.

Well Mike, in his own world he was a powerful man, now with the power of a president, his power is bound to corrupt all he touches. As the adage goes. Usianguke
