Same ideas, different day!

Regurgitated ideas play on your mind's screen,
Hammered into place with an unoriginal ball peen

Idea reruns play, winter, spring, summer, and fall,
Repetitive, splintered thoughts stick on the wall

Before sliding down in a crumpled, sad-sack heap,
For you unfortunate readers who long for more sleep

Jagged shards of used ideas are slashed on the page
And laugh at the author's dreams of a living wage

Made from his imagination turned to black and white,
When he should pack up, wake up, and call it a night,

For the sun and the readers went to sleep long, long ago
Lulled to sleep by his repetitive reused ideas of woe
