No effect!

A collaboration between Hullabaloo22 and myself:

I'm surrounded by time, but it doesn't effect me,

Everyone ages, but no wrinkles do I see

on the face in the mirror, I CHOSE to lose my hair,

and I like that what's left start turning gray; I DARE

you time, you river of age, bring it on!

I think you're a wimp, you're the ultimate con

I can do everything I could when I was younger,

just a bit slower, I'll grant you that, see, your

effects don't work on me; except I go to bed

by 9.00, but other than that, everything the said

goes with age bothers me not a bit!

Other than those few things, what's this ageing shit?

I’m not really bothered by aches and pains,

no, there’s no real increase in all life’s strains.

And perhaps I have to pick more what I can eat,

and have to look at more things as a treat.

No, they are not wrinkles that mark my face,

just lines from laughter that’s taken place.

But ageing, no, that’s a trick, a game,

we might get older but we’re still the same!
