Bittersweet

There’s a place that we all loved,

And I hated to see, for seeing it meant the time

At my grandparents was at an end

Located out on the Dungeness Spit,

The 3 Crabs had great food; lord, how I remember

Waddling out the front door, stuffed beyond reason,

For Grandma had to share with everyone, including a kid

Named Mike, who was already stuffed full, but

Couldn’t help himself; darn that tasty chow!

Then, one had to try to stay awake on the

Seemingly-never-ending, depressing car ride

Back to reality!
