Leftover Visions

Racking my brain, overflowing ideas

Need to find their escape; hence these verses,

Gazing on beauty; a cold winter's eve

So peaceful and relaxing it looks

Feel my cares unwind as if I was there in person

Magic photograph that takes me away

I feel its power to suspend disbelief

It's the power of the photograph that takes me there

Away from my dreary, actual life

This picture sets my mind to whirling,

Imagining words to life in my minds eye

This is a poem to keep my story company

Together, may they prove interesting to someone else
