The Grand Canyon
Impossible distance, unimaginable divide
How can two people see an issue so differently?

There is nothing grand about entrenched opinions
I am assuming that this piece is about your political parties. Still squabling like school boys
It's about politics, or most any subject. Politics inspired it, because my ex-sister-in-law posted a rant about Obama; she wants him out; and is totally pro guns (yee-haw!) and it started me thinking how we can see the same subject so differently! I feel like responding to her wrongness, but I know it wouldn't do any good! Yes, the Republicans are up to their same old dirty tricks. The only thing they've apparently learned from having their a***s handed to them last election, is not that they need to change their ways of thinking, on anything, its that they need to redouble their cheating to win!
Applicable to many situations, so universally interesting. Well done!
Agree with you. Sometimes we think we support the right side, and when we see someone else doing the opposite, it's really give us a hard time because it's like that other person it's supporting the devil. But, that's the beauty of all this, thanks to those opinions you were able to write this simple yet effective poem. Great job! :)
Thank you very much!
aah Mike, you always give the reader something to think about ........ Obama, don't care about his politics, just think his hot.
I do care about his politics, but whatever the reason he gets your vote, I'm good with it!
The voice of reason often goes unheard. Good poem, short but sweet.
Thank you Joanne!
