The Inappropriate Shuffle!

Like I said, the title says it all!

Hey, kids, want to tell you about a new craze,

a dance based on an another inappropriate phrase

that you spouted, and let there be no doubt,

you'll rack you tiny brain for some kind of way out.

And, like another activity, you can do this one alone,

if you, like me, run your mouth and are prone

to saying stupid shit in an effort to appear clever and witty.

When, in fact, you've crossed that line and veered into shitty.

Just put your left foot in, you pull your left foot out, then

you speak on autopilot and chow down on your right when

you finally realize what you've said--when you finally get a clue.

That is if you're not too stupid, and never fricking do!

Then the Inappropriate Shuffle morphs into The Panic,

you know the dance that begins when you get that sick,

gut-wrenching feeling, as you try to find a way

to explain what you actually meant--what can you say

that explains your dip-shittedness away? If you've arrived

at this dance, you're covered in a sweaty sheen, cause you strived

to think so hard, too hard, you really ought to sit down,

and all because you said too much, and languagely screwed around!

Oh, that 'I really put my foot on it' feeling, that's one I'm really familiar with, Mike. Brilliant!

This is relatable, Mike. Effective communication can be so hard to achieve. It's great to have freedom of speech and our own personalities, but a dance routine with set steps could be a welcome framework to help avoiding inadvertent offense etc from time to time... Great work.
