Victim of Changes
“Tick tock, tick tock” is the sound of an unwinding clock
On it’s inevitable unwinding to nothing

So glad to hear you're feeling optimistic today Mike! Does it have to be inevitable? You could always sling it out and get a new one. You probably want to sling the damned thing at me now, right?
I'm sorry; it was just one of those days!
Need to ponder that? The clock is going backwards? maybe tock tick, tock tick into oblivion. A poem going somewhere about going nowhere....
I can hear it too Mike, but not a bad thing, all those years of winding up, as we unwind the tention releases and we are left with time to think and reflect
God I so love short and this is it
Thanks Insane! I was going to go on from there, but I thought it said everything I wanted to say, so I called it good!
I loved it as a universal observation, but I'd get rid of the S in the title.
Thank you Bert; the title was a Judas Priest song from back in the day, so the title stuck in my head; you're right, maybe change singular would have been more appropriate!
This says a lot in so few words. On the surface, a sense of impending doom, but it could also spark a philosophical debate. I will definitely have to mull this one over with a glass of wine.
Thanks Patri; and hope the 1,2, or 5 glasses of wine does the trick, or at least gives you a good buzz!
short but sweetest

Your nice comment means a lot; thank you!
Sounds like you need to re-charge your batteries Mike.
Yeah, I suppose I do; thanks for all your comments!
