The man screamed, as his hopes seemed to drain before him. stood in a void that he could not see or feel. Finding all the parts of his body becoming numbs and heavy as all hope left him.
He breathed slowly trying to comprehend what was happening, the air became crisp for a moment and all was still. The man sat and clenched his head, closed his eyes maintaining a slow breath. Around the void was, slowly dripping away out of existence leave a hazey blue environment Cold, bitter but calm. Similarly with the void this place seemed never to end, but it was like time itself was no control over this place.
gleaming crystals floated in the air, motionless with the haze almost creating shapes of things that were recognisable. Suddenly the man opened his eye and took in the strange world, standing and gazing at the mist. He started smiling, grinning as the shapes pleased him more and more creating pictures of things know to his eye. Suddenly thought the mist a light murkily, ripped into the dancing haze all around. The man looked at the white light dull, dim but oppressive. He took a step forward and another, walking quicker and quicker. His heart beating, becoming more full of life with each step. Suddenly he started running, the feel of the haze, and cold calm air passing over him as he ran. The beating of his heart as he ran. His energy building and building. The haze around dancing as he tore trough it, with no objection.
Finally he came close to the source of light, the man stopped abruptly. Looking in wonder at this huge gate way of light. The mist going into it as if it where gently sucking it in, bit by bit.
The man closed his eyes and breathed, the cool air filling his lungs. He did not know what this was, but he was happy here. It was unlike the normal feeling, stronger more definite giving him unlimited energy. He confidentially took a step forward toward the huge gate way of light.
Suddenly, a figure appeared a old lady, stepping forward with one frail hand raised and a look of kindness. As she looked at the man, he felt somehow he had at some point know this woman, as he extended his hand to take hers. For a moment the old lady smiled. A moment where the man looked into the old lady's eyes and she into his.
Suddenly a shrill sound of gears in a machine failing, ripping trough the calm. The mist abruptly ticked, making seeing impossible. The wines and clunks echoed troughs the empty space. The man looked around in shock and panic, then tooth old lady. Who face was now grey and the light behind red. She started shouting in a wired dialect, as the sounds around got worse and the fool began to shake.
The man fell to the floor as the red light grew stronger, the sounds louder. His head started to race, his kind began to hurt. He could jot keep up with what had just happened. He stared yelling for help, asking if any one could stop this event. As the man looked around at the evil, hot mist that coat everything he noticed the finger of the old lady. He started to scurrying backward, to scared and confused to stand. Suddenly he crashed into something, he snap his head around quickly and was horrified to see another old lady, shouting the same as the other old lady. He noticed the sound growing louder, noticing more fingers all chanting the same thing. The man yelled as the floor rattled beneath him and the chanting grew, to a shrill chorus all shouting different thing at him. The man still on the floor began to curl up into a ball, grabbing his head and screaming as the sound built and the floor caved in around him. He opened his eyes now dripping with tears, only to see huge vast nothingness around. But on the other side of this canyon, was thousands upon thousands of the old lady's. Now all in identical business suits, stretching as far as his eyes could see chanting all at different times the same thing. With the screeching, and grinding continuing over the top of it.
The man lay there confused at what had happen as well as what was the other place. His mind began to crumble he lay on the small bit of land in the void. No way out, no quite, no sense, no control.
The man covered his head and simply lay on the ground.
