Every day,
Every fight;
Breaks my heart a little more.
Every yell,
Every scream;
Kills me slowly inside.

I wish for we to be a normal family,
But never will that come.
Never will our lives be less than a yell away.
Never will we eat together,
Let alone at a table.

At points I let you in.
I savor the good moods,
Keep them close to my heart.
Those are my most vulnerable of days.
The days where,
I smile and laugh;
You at my side.

Then the next day,
Your mood against everything happy;
Is when I shield myself.
My features;
Expressionless.
My tears;
Hidden.

I lie in my room,
Ipod as loud as could be.
Too hide away from the monster I call a brother.
The one I should be beloved by me,
Instead...
Is feared by me.

AN: hey all, im just letting you know this now. This is written from the heart, so please dont ask me about that....also, if you get a chance, please read my other poem, Inevitable Reailty. thank you for reading!!
