My grandson has Autism he is grown now and has shown everyone how astute he is. Schedules are very important to him, his passion is computer graphics. He now has a part time job. He is never late, of course.

As I Gazed Down At My Grandson
I Looked At Him And Said
'You Are So Very Perfect'
Then He Bowed His Little Head.

As I looked down at him again
I Could See A Little Smile
Then He Walked Off To His Room
And Played For Awhile.

He Looks My Way As If To See
Right Through My Heart And Soul
What A Wonderful Gift I Have In Him
The Stories That Are Untold.

They Tell Me He Is Different
Yet He Falls And Scrapes His Knees
He Plays With His Father's Tools And Things
He Is Not So Different To Me.

Hi Mimie, I love this! Such a special tribute, to such a beautiful guy. I'm so delighted you shared this with us. I'm glad I stumbled upon this. He is blessed to have a special grandmother like you. I'm so happy that he had so much support from you. Thanks for what you do.
