On a day like today, when I’ve finished chaining together the imminent effects of a minor footstep and after decidedly ditching any plans of a continued routine, and with the curious silence of an empty house and a rain-filled sky, I forget about the world and it’s fruitful complications, lay back, and think about food. And when I awake to the wonderful scent of roast and potatoes, I stretch my arms wide, work myself up, yawn, and laugh at myself for being such a fool.
