The Black Rose

Black Rose

It sits alone in a dark room

does it even know it's name?

It smells of the sweetest perfume

ah, the red rose it will never know her fame.

The rose it sits alone

the shouts of it's peers

afraid of all it's known

It can not contain all it's fears

Alone it will forever be

Yet, it feels alright

alone it feels free

it's future is so very bright
