Status: Finished  |  Genre: Fantasy  |  House: Booksie Classic

Seventeen year old Lyra Wood knew that she didn’t quite fit in her quiet little town in the woods. She’d always lived with this strange obsession for the forest. Whenever she’s in it, it’s like an animal being let out of a cage; she feels free. When she leaves there’s only anger and the feeling of being cornered. One day, she frees a wolf caught in a trap only a few miles from her house, and starts receiving these dreams. Lyra soon discovers that there is a whole world hidden in the forest behind her house and it is her duty to save it. Can she save this strange world and not lose sight of who she is?

This story has gone through some intense editing. Hopefully, not much of it will be changed when it’s published. No constructive feedback please, just enjoy the story. :) Also, towards the end, for some reason, Booksie wouldn't let me finish italicizing the monologue so put them in little quotes.
