Sitting beneath the sunny sky
But still I feel so cold inside
Normally I can understand
But Today I'm not quite hand in hand
With the side that takes the happy stance
It's not really that I'm sad
I'm just not fond with the day I've had
I hear at once a tiny noise
A small note barely heard
It sounded of a chirping bird
I look around and see no one
No other person to stand among
The moment in which I had clung
To all of it's former glory
So that is my reason for mourning
Everything is so different
But change to some is imminent
So close you can feel it's tint
Yet too far to expect it
It's interesting how one loses value
But never seems to lose their view
I might know these things
But I wonder if you see them too
It's really hard to do
And there is no cue
No one shares a clue
No knowing what it'll do
It's hard to see
But when you're in need
It'll set you free
