By the side of the road,
under the apple tree,
is where you will find,
our sweet Valerie.
Just up the hill,
and around the bend,
lies the resting place,
of one of my best friends.
For six weeks our honey,
lay in the grass,
not to be found,
by cars driving past.
With the sweet smell of apples,
and the buzzing of flies,
I'm sitting here now,
where innocence died.
