Today we will go
Even though it is slow
To our new abode
It won’t be long now
As the dog goes ‘bow, wow’

Here comes the furniture van
But oh dear it’s gone and stuck
Right under that bridge.
From one side to the other
Gay bunting, that’s the bother.

Still what do we care
Look new home, nearly there.
God Save the Queen
We cried as she went by.

‘Cos now we have seen
Street Parties galore
Lots of food and more.
Is it for us?
To live in Wales
Near hills and dales
Faraway dreams
Never come true it seems

But joy, oh joy when at last
Our house exchange passed.
