Fields of yellow and green

Spring has come

But not with me

My stem has been plucked

So rough

Jagged edges where I wilt

Spring has arrived

And here I stand like a winter flower

Who's time is to die

Fighting to survive

Then me, the flower, was saved by the light

The sun came out and saved the day

A new flower

From a new leaf

Never knew it existed

But it rises

But it has stopped

Not blooming

But it has my full attention

I want it

I urge it to bloom

Stay alive!

The sun just shines

Giving just enough light

To survive

I reach for the sun

I want to bloom

Let me bloom!

To feel beautiful

Alive inside

Why tease?

I will be the prettiest flower

I will dazzle

Let me bloom?

Crush me with coldeness

Shine me with light

You decide
