It would only take one good experience to erase all of the trash that has gone through my life. But since I have yet to find that, here you go.

I wish I could steal your heart.
It’s only fair, you stole mine.
You showed a little interest, so I foolishly gave you the rights.
I tried to be cautious, but I got tired of carrying this heavy thing all by myself.
You weren’t so quick to give up yours,
In fact, I never possessed it.
So I am in complete disbelief. I thought you’d take care of it.
Because in case you didn’t know, my heart is precious, and delicate.
And the more times it is broken, the more fragile it becomes.
So because of your carelessness and utter disregard,
My heart just sits here,
Damaged, unfit for further use.
It’s not fair, I didn’t do anything to your heart,
Yet you get to walk around, as whole as ever…

 Lucky you.
