Here I sit, with pen in hand Impatiently waiting for something grand. A brilliant idea, an epic story But past \"Once Upon...\" I find I do worry.

Stuck with an idea, but no future plot, Because writing stories is no talent I've got. Desperately wanting to stratch down on paper A fantastic novel that can't wait until later.

But here I sit, with a clog in my brain, Writing stories, I find, is just such a strain. It seems like my pen just refuses to write, And it seems like my hand wants to put up a fight.

The trash can is brimming, With ideas gone to waste, Those stories are as lovely As an old jar of paste.

I've got characters, and the whole conflict planned, But just how to get there, is still not yet manned Every plot that I've gotten is lam-o, is dumb. As if a dog wrote it, and his brain was numb.

And I can't take a break 'til I find something better 'Cause I'll forget what I wrote, have to start a new letter, As willing and able to write as a duck My book-writing skills are just not my best luck.

Here I sit, with pen in hand, Impatiently waiting for something grand. Stuck with an idea, but no future plot, Because writing stories is no talent I've got.
