Speak up dear,

please because I cannot hear you.

Explain to me how these days turned to yelling

and I ended up crying on this floor.

The shower is steaming hot

along with the tears on my cheeks.

The walls have no ears

they cannot hear my cursing.

No one will see how I hug that teddy bear

holding tight because it only brings memories.

Speak up dear,

please because I cannot hear you.

Explain to me how I became so foolish

and I feel like my world fell apart.

The crumbs make it fall apart

along with everything I once knew.

The walls have no eyes

they cannot see how I toss and turn in bed.

No one will hear how I cry

because it feels cruel and unusual.

Speak up dear,

please because I cannot hear you.

Explain to me how I feel empty

like everything just left.

The vacuum sucks up everything

along with what made me feel full.

The walls have no emotions

they cannot feel how unfair this is.

No one will see how I throw things around

because I don't know what else to do.

Speak up dear,

please because I cannot hear you.

Explain to me how you can do this

like I never mattered at all.

Speak up dear,

please explain to me.
