Thunder rumbles across the sky,

Dogs howl, some bark, some start to cry,

Lightening flashes, illuminating the room,

Animals scuttle all over me leaving no legroom,

Another loud bang sounds, and the fear rips through me,

As bolt of lightening strikes a close tree,

Sparks fly, I shiver and wait till it's the storm subsides,

But unfortunately for me, a branch from the tree flies,

Hitting the window and smashing the glass,

A sharp pain as something pierces my back and neck,

Blood is splashed all over the floor,

The carpet is now covered in gore.
