palms pressed together
the prayer begins
so slim, yet heavy with sperm and vice,
to the brim...
forgiven thy sins, by the devil, your twin
bestow freedom upon you
rid you of food you have eaten or dreamt
through words slipping thy mouth.
wet is the ground,
where the reek of cowardice swept
right where you slept, at the second attempt
your desire welled up in vomit,
as you could no longer oh it,
slow it
promised to rot and
cleanse the natural juices that life
bred
and all that’s below it
is all that’s above it…
the fame crucifixion has offered
was not well considered so you,
eternally willing to covet,
devoured legions the prophet
converted,
the legions in which he believed
‘let’s just have sex’ through his mouthpiece
the grin was detached, anesthesia
‘to please ya’
so cynical, or was it to please?
‘a fool shall be he who not flees.
a worse one he who remains.’
they bled me in my ceaseless fervor
and took me where the dead lilt
demented, corrupted, decaying
quilted by memory…
forgotten, unloved.

this piece was very haunting, it tormented me for days and is perhaps one of the most arduous pieces of work I've posted on here. I'm pleased you found a way to get absorbed by it, since other approaches might have ended up in you not even attempting to pursue a reader's affair with it. and I also believe it's generally unpleasant to read (should be unpleasant to read), since it was meant for breathing.

danke schön!
