Are you a castaway as I once was
at one point in my life?
Do you feel the heartache of destruction
the never ending strife?
What demons chased you in your sleep
and haunted every hour?
Did people make you cruel and cynical
turn your heart forever sour?

I have been as you are now
lost in some constant haze.
Hidden in my palace strong
from others vindictive ways.
God gave me back my strength
a suit of armor true
and if you ask Him my friend.
He'll do the same for you.

So what do you have to gain
if you keep that attitude?
You harden up your heart
and show no gratitude.
You’ll never see streets of gold
or live in harmony.
God is waiting for your call
so He can share the victory.
