bible

There among the new spring flowers
amid the crocus and daffodils,
I thought of You and dreamed of You
and the heart that never stills.
Against the storm clouds raging
in the heavens rent asunder,
I saw above beyond the tempest,
my eyes were filled with wonder.

As each new day it brings the dawn
and new found life for all,
I hear the dove call Your name
and it resounds in drops that fall.
There stretched across the bluest sky,
the colors of the rainbow,
pressed deep inside my very soul
He lives, the God, I’ve come to know.
