There beyond the mirror's shattered glass
shining brightly as a prism touched by sun
the colors dance and cluster in a mass
they stretch, contort and become as one.

Excuses are made to help distort the pain
and praises are dispersed to endlessly glorify.
Here within the center of the working brain
thoughts scatter and then rejoin to fortify.

When will that moment come to pass
when the colors found in brilliant sun
desert the shattered fragments of the glass
and meld together and become as one?
