Secretly she wished the world would be better
so much sorrow,
so much anger,
so much pain.
People traveling in and out trying to stifle and fetter.
Huddled in despondency,
staring at the sky,
engorged by rain.
Then she sees Him there
brightly shining up above
the One who always did care
the One who brings sweet love.
Feeling trapped within the thick endless maze
so much terror
so much fear
so much confusion.
People caught inside an ever changing phase
she cries out
so much uncertainty
what a great illusion.
Then she sees Him there
brightly shining up above
the One who always did care
the One who brings sweet love.
