Seeds spreading across the world
Growing up with their roots unfurled
One tree or many one thing for certain
Some leaves protection can form a curtain

Young saplings bearing fruits of burden
They bend and sag and are heavily laden
The saplings like children can’t carry too much
Sometimes to finish they need a simple crutch

Growing up all hefty and burly
It then can survive wind when it gets surly
The deeper down the roots are found
The longer it can hold it’s ground

Except when planted into bad soil
Harder for the food it’ll toil
Without the food it won’t last long
Though human beings speak of it in a song

The leaf for a moan and a twig for groan
In the breeze it sways alone
Through the years parts wither while dying
And the same time the rest is thriving
