Concluding, since I have come this far, it is around one o'clock in the morning. Crash! There it went again. It must of hit something hard to be that loud. It has been several hours since six o'clock yesterday evening . How many hours will I have to play hide and seek here. I wonder now why I came here.
Not too long ago , in fact it was 3 hours before we came here. We, I mean my comrades, Keith, Syria, Jo-ann, Gia, John, who have now been gone for several hours. I pray for thee that they may be alright. It was a full moon today, from the front of the mansion the moon was menacing villain saying come into the mansion if you dare. We weren't afraid, at least Keith thought. We were standing under the porch which looked like it could collapse at anytime. Green vines covered the walls, at first they looked like moss, they stretched but did not reach the third floor. The door was wooden with but a dull silver pull. I looked a way for a moment to look at the window to left of the porch. Red eyes stood at the window, so glaring and villainous, so much to tremble me in fear. We walked into the mansion, such a musty stench in the air. The hallways were lighted but a ghostly atmosphere surrounded the air we breathed. All of sudden the door shut behind us. Thud! Thud! We heard loud steps from the west hallway, which was lined with mysterious paintings such as like the Mona Lisa. Wind blew gently from the east hallway. Heat was coming from the north of us. Coldness from the door. A strange smoke covered the border of the door. We saw a glimpse of the red eyes then the lights went off suddenly . beware red eyes that gleam within the darkness of the hallways, twas the legend of this mansion .
Here I am running now for my life. How selfish, I am to not even thinking of my comrades in danger. There were five of us but now I cannot tell how many of us are there left, all I know is to keep running. I was in need of water , dehydration was in the midst of my troubles. Saliva gathered in my dry mouth. My muscles are worn out and pain went through my body. I stopped at a near by room , but I could make it to the rendezvous point. The roof, was it? I can't remember. “YAAAHH!!” a scream but it did not sound like any of my friends. Its black, the room it is. I can only see but a red necklace hanging from a nail in the wall in front of me. The room reeks of wet paint. My head is dizzy. I got up with my hand on the floor boards. Once I got up I saw it.
It was in the room , even though I could only see its terrifying eyes. I backed up, towards the north side from where I sat before, but it came forth. Every step I took it seemed it took two steps forward. I tried to grab something but nothing was behind me. I was scared, very scared. My hair was on end, nerves were wide awake, and the smell of paint got to my senses. I felt horror, sadness, coldness in the room of black. The beating of my nervous heart was very loud that I thought that its heart beat and my synced. I finally reached the wall I touched it to see if anything sharp, loose, or something I could grab my hand at. That's when I grabbed it.
I never knew a necklace could hold such significance until I grabbed it. The red jewel necklace, what could such a necklace mean to it that it would grab it from my hands and stand there looking at it. It's eyes for a moment looked sad, such anguish in those eyes, so pitiful. A melancholy atmosphere surrounded it. It was off in it's own world, a world full of misery and grief. I wanted to help it but I knew I couldn't. Tears came poured out of my face down my soft skin on too the wooden floor. A tear drop that's all it took for it to leave me be. I don't know what happened after that but I found myself outside the mansion in the court yard on the grass with my companions with me of course ,but one more person was within the group. I woke up all of them, and of course all of them thought that it was just a nightmare but I didn't believe it. I knew in my soul that it was real. A true fearful experience that is to be never forgotten by the heart. I looked back towards the mansion I took one good look and then I saw a human with red eyes holding the red necklace close to his chest. While holding it he looked toward me and mouthed words. I turned a around running to my friends while waving back at the mansion. I said aloud, “YOU'RE WELCOME!!!”.
