Aren't you just tired of trying?

I Tried

I tried to secure you

I tried to admire you

I tried to let you,

My friend, I love you so!

I tried to be silent

I tried to be content

I tried to fight the tears,

but my feelings can't vanish.

I tried to look so strong

So the friendship can last long

I tried to convince myself

That loving you is SIMPLY WRONG...

That's how I felt with my friend not so long ago. I got over him and now I'm asking myself what I saw in him... Good poem, I like the way you said the feelings to make it seem like the person is .... anxious(?). I don't know the right word to describe this, but I love it!
