A Skeptic

Bitterness and doubt
Is what you bring
You question that
Which clouds
Your own judgment
With screeching feelings
Tearing and knocking
At the thin lining of your brain
My words unsightly
Like thick, hairy arachnids
Crawling and sending vicious chills
Up your soft, pathetic spine
While they line the curving channels
Of your frontal lobe

Criticize me
I know you dare
As you leak weakness
Out of every tiny pore
Oozing as you drag along
Like a wounded gunshot victim
Hand weakly covering the hole
That exposes your nature
Eager to cast a shadow
Fearful of resilience
Hardly durable in battle
The clash of minds
And intentions
You know the sharper cuts through
