On the outer cliff of the inarguably real
A solid place, object, physical entity to grasp
I stood rigid and gazed long into a most peculiar abyss
Not an abyss of pressured depths as a deep chasm
Or of great length as the unending and expanding cosmos
In such solid, inarguably real places, motion can be tracked
In such places distance traveled can be counted
But here I pondered into an abyss that existed of nothing but infinity
I beheld as infinity stared at itself
'Twas impossible to find or focus on any object
The search into the reflection of the search would never end
Instead it thrashes and contorts and struggles in its trek
As so many reflections reflect on themselves
Forever boring a tunneling path that can not be quantified
Such a place where nothing is found because
But the search, forever
