Writing this gave me insight to who I really was and who I really wanted to be, in the Bible Jesus quotes when you pray, pray personally and do not use vain repetitions. To me this my personal prayer to the Lord, that divine creator.

That eternal godhead calling
But I do not answer the phone
Do not understand myself in this tomb
This vessel, this channel, so awkward it feels

I can be more, yet I choose not to speak
Infancy has left me, but that child was unique
Creating worlds that I called my own
Locked away into an ocean built just for me

Seeing only when I want to see
Choosing only to be me when I want to be
Distancing myself from all this agony
When will I see the true and real me?

It is locked away and I hold the key
Knowing full well that my body gets in the way
Ugliness I know is what they say
Built like a bull, with horns digging side to side

Wide faced, thin lips, clenched fists, drunken eyes
Yet I hold the key and I know I am so much more

So I will not use vain repetitions as I used to
Caught myself in a rhyme loophole without no feel
The truth is inside, and it must come - I will try
Through that tough skinned man in the mirror
Taking a look at red tinted eyes
I wonder if I got spat out again just in time

And I feel wonderful in this precious existence

Cause I am, and you are my other me
