I wrote this poem describing what it felt like years ago to live in solitude yet I yearned for Christ's glory and grace.

I have heard the bell that sings outside
I have also heard the rumble of the tide
It must be Him that trudges near
So I must be happy, humble in prayer

The soul glides upwards into the sky
Next to the dove who barely whispers a sigh
Hollow grounds do I walk with hope
I know I can trust in His guidance and cope

Make sure the days are open and free
So maybe one day I soon will be
Sitting by His side in graceful sight
Never too soon and never too bright

May my words inspire those in need
So in comes the mighty heroic steed
To carry upon todays heavy burdens
As we grow heavenly in His lofty gardens
