I always thought that life was like climbing up a mountain.

Ancient whispers heed the call
Of some minimal undertone
Heading out to the west
Seeming always I tried my best

No weapons to carry
Only a smile
As I trudge on through
Those empty miles

The mountain is high
And the valleys are low
I will climb at my own pace
Helping the others below

Catching the rope that dangles
Before my eyes swinging
So grasp on tightly
Time to start the singing

Praise to all who come
Some fight, and some run
We run together at the sun
Reaching the top, realizing were not done
