This is in regards of a moment in my life i treasure as a memoir and also as keepsake for the world to remember.

Korea a place full of imagination lights and laughter.my first duty station.I remember the first interaction i had as i stepped off the bus to my camp.

and came encounter with a wind chill so harsh it couldve ripped my ACU'S right off it was November to be exact, but i couldnt complain. I was more siked, with an outer body experience more than anything.  walking towards my camp  i stopped to catch my  nerves because the adrenaline inside me coudlve jump out and started running. getting closer and closer to my destination i feel a tug at my pant  leg and gasped softly, actually trying to pretend that didnt scare the lights of out of me, but I still maintained my military bering and look  to

who tugged me.It  was this beautiful young girl couldnt of had been younger then 10 yrs old.

and at a small distance was her mother  glancing with excitement  and glow that the wind chill couldnt stop. as i turned full frontal and  choked my words to say hello, but it wasnt to successfull, but it seemed in their eyes normal i said:  How are you ladies? the response i got back obvioulsy you know what im about to say.... was korean and thats when i came more inquistive to know  exactly what their intent to stop me was. The little girl shouted SOLDIER! SOLDIER!  I got a little nervous considering i didnt know Korea's political background

towards americans, so i kept my guard up a little. HEY READERS DONT JUDGE ME WHAT WOULDVE YOU DONE! back to the story i said "yes yes me soldier me soldier"and you?

she replied: Yenjho! I replied Yenjho back and she knodded her head in a yes movement to apply that yenjho was her name. her mother knodded as well, I said ohhhhhh and continued with the  involvment. The little girl then spoke full korean which i couldnt understand and i looked towards her mother with an expression so she can understand that i didnt know korean. then  her mother replied in broken english "yenjho say you beautiful spririt" as i as try to put the words together it came to me quickly what she had interpreted what yenjho said. at that moment the wind chilled stopped and warmth came across me,i was  speecheless and honored to have someone so young realize the surroundings around them and know the involments with soldiers. I then came to complement yenjho stating "your beautiful as well" even though i couldnt compete with her comment i left them with a thank you and they bowed to me in honor  and walked away with a excitement that i never seen in my life. the meaning of this story is to get you readers intacted with no matter what part of the world your in confidence is key cause you never know who may appreciate your service whether you are writers, artist, motivators. remember someone will always recongnize you no matter what the severity of a situation might be.
