Dragons' Land

Once upon a time, there was a magical land, high, high in the distant skies. A land that was not touched by beasts, a land that was not touched by monsters, a land that was not touched by technology, a land that was not touched by humans, A land called Kaldimor. And from the name of my story, you can realize what the inhabitants, dragons are. There stood a land of freedom, a land with no laws, no crimes, no fear, no sadness, no tears, just beauty remained. There stood high green mountains, there floated rivers of gold, trees with silver leaves, bright green grass covering the ground, red and blue roses lying over the grass, 2 wonderful pink suns and 5 gentle purple moons. A whole culture of dragons lived there once. Fire breathing, ice breathing, black ones, green ones, red ones, all tall and huge, all shiny and bright, all beautiful and charming, and the most important of all, all were peaceful. Our Story begins with a young 20 years old, massive and charming blue colored dragon, called Draco. This dragon was a bit curious; he was a bit different than the other dragons. This dragon had hope. He had hope that the people living down in the underworld are not like how he heard of them. (As I said their land was in the sky, so their underworld was earth) he hoped that the warnings that his parents and grandparents warned him and his brothers are not true. he hoped to combine both worlds, he wanted to make a new culture, he wanted to believe that humans are peaceful, he wanted to see them, hear them, talk with them, he wanted to introduce them to his world. So he decided to cross the black hole that separated his world from theirs. Of course Draco wasn't stupid to announce that he is going to cross the black hole! That could get him fired from Kaldimor! So he decided to cross it silently and secretly. At the night April 14, 1999, Draco went on his mission to cross the black hole. He stood in front of it taking deep breathes, just staring. Should he do it? Should he risk? Will he succeed? Will the humans accept his invitation to combine with his word? will they get scared? Will they kill him? Will they welcome him? All this questions flashed in his mind in the very few seconds before he closed his eyes and flied across the black hole. Draco landed his massive body on the land of New York, excited to learn about a world that he'd never seen. He heard so many noises, \"it's not as quite as Kaldimor\" he thought. I think you know what these noises are. Yes, they are the noises of fear, the noises of destruction. All humans feared the new visitor. Police whistles everywhere, People running as fast they could, Armed Forces arrived, Air Forces flied in the sky, even the Marines came to join. \"I come in peace\" cried Draco, wondering about their next reaction. \"We are all here and ready for your command, Mr. President, shall we attack?\" said the commando of the armed forces. \"No, describe the situations first\" said the president through the phone. \"A huge unknown monster standing in the highway, he says that he came in peace\" answered the commando. \"Ask him what he wants\" said the president. \"What do you want?\" asked the commando. \"I have an invitation to your world to come and join our world, Kaldimor, I'm asking for a peaceful life for humans and dragons, I'm asking the people of your world to join us, dragons, to form a new civilized culture, to create a new advanced world for both creatures to live in. Imagine what your technology and our magic can make if they combined, you are destroying earth with your weapons and pollution, we are watching you humans, since you inhabited earth, if you continued with using weapons, fighting in wars and polluting the earth, in a few hundred years there will be no earth, there will be no humans. Do you accept my invitation to join our world, do you accept the invitation to join Kaldimor?\" asked Draco. \"Are there more monsters like you there?\" Asked the president. \"We are not monsters, we are peaceful creatures, and yes there are millions like me and even bigger\" said Draco. And a moment of silent passed, the soldiers were eye to eye contact with Draco, waiting for the command of the president, holding their weapons ready to shoot at any moment. \"Shall we attack sir?\" asked the commando. \"Yes, it's our laws, our world, our way and we will not allow changing it\" \"Attack!\" shouted the commando. Draco's eyes opened wide as the bullets rained on his body. \"Thank you\" whispered Draco as his blue body fell to the ground, \"thank you for making me realize the truth of humans, you are destructive and you will always stay the same, your destiny is what you deserve, your destiny is what you made, your destiny is close.\" These were the last words of Draco. Draco didn't die for nothing, he died trying, and he died for hope. A hope that he believed in, but the human nature took this hope from him, but at least he died knowing the truth of which humans really are.
