Life in a metro city….

When I got a chance to stay in a metro city for my first job, I exploited it as much as I could. Chilled shopping malls with branded showrooms, boutiques by famous designers, service tax aided coffee shops and wide spread food courts allured me. Money is an obstacle for a shopaholic, but I was here only for window shopping. Though my salary was not that great, whenever I felt like buying branded stuff, I never backed off.

The very first time I tasted Americano and dark chocolate pastry in a coffee shop, I fell in love with them. Thereafter, I never minded splurging on them. My taste buds bloomed on seeing the mouth watering menus in the food courts. I drooled at the cuisines of various countries.

The magic in Mexican dishes, Mayonnaise in Italian lasagne and spicy Chinese momos kept tempting me throughout each day. I installed almost all the apps that will fetch food to my door step.

The next thing that came to mind was fitness. A high calorie diet leads to high fat content in the body. Thus, started my research on nutrition tips to keep me fit without giving up my high calorie food. Due to my penchant for western outfits, I needed to maintain my physique. I researched non-stop to balance my high calorie consumption and fitness. Finally, I chose yoga and Zumba dance. To this day, I do Yoga and Zumba dance on alternative days with full dedication. People say, “Life in a metro city is not that easy”, but the current technologies available make it easy. Enjoy the city life as much as you can.
