-When I believe in holding my road,
It’s my eyes that remind me
Too much is too much.
And we can watch the week start tonight
But I sit there lost, waiting for you.
How were my young eyes
Supposed to watch you cry
In the time that it took,
To see you,
too hear you die
it was nothing short of desperate,
nothing I wanted more,
but sometimes messes make you.
and that’s all that life can afford.
In the rainy streets I watch you
Lost in your own mind,
When did I stop waiting for you,
when did I feel the sun on my skin?
But I sat there lost, waiting for you.
How were my young eyes
Supposed to watch you cry
In the time that it took,
To see you,
too hear you die
trying to remind me
to still stand alone.
