An unnamed boy's obsession and mission to get the girl he loves to be his.

I saw her walking alone in the darkness, her fragile body moving contently. She came back from studying at the library, like every Monday night, she was always so in tune with her studies. Her pace was slow and steady a motion that was both taunting and very elegant. Her long brown hair cascaded down her back, effortlessly blowing in the wind.

She walked down the empty alley like she always did, and I followed carefully behind. Tonight was the night. The night I would make her mine, forever.

I could hear her heartbeats’ steadiness, and her breathing relaxed. That would all probably change once I went for her. Since the first day I saw her at school I had fallen for her. She was irresistible, and completely unavailable. She wasn’t dating anyone, but she was a girl that radiated perfection without knowing. She had what other girls didn’t; a girl that didn’t flaunt, that didn’t pretend. She was everything: smart, beautiful, elegant, athletic, funny, sweet, and I just had to have her all for myself.

I followed her home everyday since then and she became my obsession, I knew what she did every second to every day, it sickened me how much I cared for her, but I accepted the fact that I did. I followed her everyday with the goal of having her, but I always left at the last second. How could I do that to her?, she was an angel. But I wasn’t going to back out tonight, that’s for sure.

I quickened my pace to catch up to her, though she didn’t seem to notice because both her heartbeat and breathing stayed the same. I looked around to check if anyone was around, but it was lonely and silent. The moment I saw that I was safe, I took the plunge. I grabbed her from behind and covered her mouth with my hand. I dragged her to the end of the alley hard, into a dead end. I debated what to do next since I knew what awaited if I hesitated for too long, she’d scream and flee. Now was when her heartbeat increased and her breathing became ragged. Tears were welling up in the corners of her eyes. Oh, those beautiful eyes of hers, clear hazel, how they mesmerized me. They looked at me with fear and surprisingly relief. I shushed her and leaned into her ear and whispered soothing words to calm her down. I assured her I wasn’t there to hurt her, which in my mind I took back. Her face showed that she was afraid of me, but in reality I was afraid of her and her rejection. It was quiet for a few moments, and in those few moments all we did was look into each others eyes. Her expression changed to serenity, and I imagined a world of possibilities with her, to see that smile of hers everyday, to see her eyes sparkle as the stars sparkle above us, to hold her in my arms as we made love, to care for one another as if the world ended tomorrow. I needed her to say yes. Oh my sweet angel please say yes! I felt this need inside me to have her, it might have been unhealthy but I didn’t care. It was as if I couldn’t keep with the days without her, and I needed to do it.

Finally I let my hand fall hesitantly and let go of her mouth. She didn’t yell like I expected her to, she just stood there and looked at me in curiosity. I was afraid, she was afraid, but yet no extreme moments came from her.

“What do you want from me?” she asked in a low voice. She was rather calm and I wondered if she felt the same way.

“Everything” I responded rather too quickly. We again just stood there looking into each others eyes, but this time her eyes traveled down to my lips, and mine to hers. She wanted this too! I was sure of it. I leaned in slowly to her face feeling her breath on my lips. I closed the space between us anxiously and kissed her soft lips. Her lips tasted sweet making me go mad, so I kissed her more and more. Her arms wrapped around my neck, and mine around her tiny waist. I kissed her more furiously this time our breathing quickening by the second. I held her closer and tighter hoping she wouldn’t abruptly change her mind. I didn’t want her to run away from me just as I came so close. My lips traveled down to her jaw, getting lower and lower to her neck which I softly kissed. Then I moved my face next to her ear.

“Would you die tonight, for love?” I whispered.

“Yes” Was all she answered.

“Join me in death?”

“Yes” she said. That was all I needed to hear from her.

I lowered my head down back to her neck and kissed her there once more. I open my mouth and let my fangs shine through in the pure darkness, I wanted to be as gentle as I could so I bit into her as quickly and swiftly as possible. I heard her gasp and I sucked the blood that dripped down. Her blood was delicious, just how I knew it would. It was sweet and tangy all at once. The slimy copper taste rushed through my mouth filling it with a elixir meant for lovers. It was addicting, a problem sometimes for us, and the thought of draining her excited me. She began to moan in pleasure and I knew I had to stop. She wasn’t just an object I could use when I wanted, or some kind of meal to me, she was my love. I kept drinking and drinking and felt her body give out into a vulnerable state where consciousness drifted on and off. I held her up and carried her in my arms her eyes closed and the peacefulness of her face radiated against the light from the sky making her more beautiful. I looked down at her withered body in my arms and kissed her on the forehead, happily. I walked down the alley into the darkness.

That night she died. That night she became a vampire, and she became mine.

This really had me thinking he was going to rape her until the very last part. I'm not too much into the vampire scene and it kind of threw me off, but it was the last paragraph and wasn't too bad at all. The mystery definitely made the reader continue and aside some grammatical and punctuation errors, it's good. I like the way you wrote it to keep us in suspense as to whether he was a creeper, stalker, pedophile, etc. or something completely harmless, which, in the end, proved to be not so. Good job.

Haha that's what I wanted people to think XD Okay...I just sounded like a total creep by laughing at that...uhmm sorry. Oh yes, I get what you mean the vampire thing is totally a "really? type thing but this came to me (I say this like it was a philosophy idea ha XD) when I was walking in a dark alley listening to Join me in Death by HIM ( which is a great song so you should definitely listen to it if you can) and the song I think is about an eternal prospect at love, and I know it's not original hehe. I am so Happy you thought it was suspenseful! Gah, thank you!! This comment makes me happy :) Oh ok, those grammar mistakes do get me each time lol. I really hope you read my response comment, I think I love you ;). Oh just think of him as someone who killed her but wasn't a vamp, just someone who though who was :P. Thanks for reading!!! :)
