I'm not finished with this story yet (no where near finishing actually) but I would really love some intro feedback on whether or not I should keep writing and where the readers would like to see it head to. Thanks a TON!

Judith Moon

I not only found myself thinking of how hard it was to believe that ending up in a mental ward would be my happening, but extravagantly shocked that I wasn’t the one being treated. As always, the halls to Grander Field Mental Facility were completely bleak and empty- it was “nap time”.  Every passing tick of my wrist watch I observed, anticipating time to somehow dissipate faster than normal. “I talk to myself alone, sometimes, I definitely have the inability to experience joy or pleasure from activities, and I guess I could consider myself somewhat isolated, does that make ME Schizophrenic?” I thought to myself, vigorously raising my eyebrows out of pure concern and curiously. And then coming from behind the chair I sat in, called an oh -so familiar high pitched voice. “Nurse Moon”? She called, interrupting my present thought. It was no one other than Ms. Flint, the Head Nurse. Flint was round in size with a hardy atmosphere and a notable Irish accent to compliment. Even though large, she stood tall above most of the staff members which gave me the foolish conclusion that her height had something to do with her position. “Have you been advised of Mr. Olsten’s new dietary requirements dear?  I wasn’t too sure if they had been faxed to your quarters or so.” “No actually, I didn’t have the chance, but thank you” I said, returning the sincerity I received. “No problem. Did you want any assistance with the activities of today?  Regina’s the floating nurse for the shift if you feel the need”.  “Oh no –no, I’ll be fine today’s a meek day for us anyway, thank you again though” I smiled warmly. “You’re welcome”. I watched Ms. Flint Pace briskly back down the hall to the stair well just the same way she had entered.
