There are buses packed full and suited up men

Trains are a drag, so is pushing a pen

Long hard days and tumulous nights

Daily slogs just don't feel right

I've tried it all you know

From shop to office

But not being myself

Means people take the piss

What's the use of your life, when a percentage is hated

All this money for happiness is so over-rated

Take, take, take with nothing ever given back

Ladders to climb and tough targets to crack

Hard nosed sales

Or tough luck bosses

Passing the buck

Someone else take my crosses

So, skint as a bee with a pound to my name

I smile every day, so BIG, people think I'm insane

The laughter comes easy, it just tumbles out

I love to be FREE, to dance and to shout

Pay may be shit

Happiness comes free

Oh so good to have a job

Where I love being ME !!
