How insignificant and small you make me feel...yet I desire to get closer.

You are so strong and powerful yet seeing you makes me weak.

You are so ordinary, yet you exude the most romantic thoughts.

You glare at me with a light so bright, burning my eyes, yet I continue to stare.

You sit there watching me, saying nothing, while millions of thoughts enter my mind.

Your presence speaks volumes, while words cannot pass my lips.

You are so high above me, while I fall so far below.

You are emotionless, while my eyes are overcome with tears.

But still I am drawn to you.  To that power, that connection, that constant in my life.

For without you I would be too lonely, too cold and empty.  And darkness would truly come.
