Blinded, torn into shattered pieces
Irreplaceable slices taken for granted
Now my pieces lie lost in the endless dark sands
Time has been frozen beyond any repair
I lay upon the edge of guilt where only oceans can comfort
Memories bleed through empty shells that see no more
One piece remains but beats broken bloodless agony
There is no escape from this misery that only remains present
An empty vial where life once existed only but an empty hourglass with no time
The ocean angered with frustration calling to me to cease my misery
To embrace the pain and cease to exist
Perhaps to exist already means not existing at all
I dare not but there is not one soul to find my shattered pieces
My last piece shall be burnt to ashes
And then I will feel no more
I am here but I’m not there
I see without seeing
Still I linger here but I am there as if I was never here
But the pain will never cease
My heart is dead but alive
It beats because it must not because it wants
