I am not a ragdoll,
For you to throw around.
My heart is not a punching bag,
For you to pound.
I grow weary of your lies,
I've tried to be your friend.
I don't want to play games,
I don't want to pretend.
I am not a puppy,
That you hit when I do something bad.
But I will be the pillow,
You cry to when you're sad.
I won't be the door,
That you slam when you're angry.
Will you just be happy,
And, please, just accept me?
I will be your friend,
I will  hold your hand.
If you will be be there for me,
We'll be exactly what we planned.
