there are two breeds of animals

that never should be wed
down south the amoronicans
up north, canuckleheads

the northern like their hockey sticks
the south, their baseball bats
and if they have an argument
they fight like dogs and cats

the northern live in ice and snow
the southern like it warm
and when the cold and heat combine
it causes violent storms

the northern have prime ministers
the south have presidents
the southern folk speak english
and the north, both that and french

the northern have their maple leaf
the south, their stars and stripes
they're never gonna get along
they're just two different types

but i'm an amoronican
and her, canucklehead
we've made up our own country
and we're living there instead
