play me like a zither

put you hands upon my strings
thaw me like a winter
that is melting into spring
wrap me in the warmness
that envelops everything
bless me with your laughter
like an angel when she sings

dazzle me with brilliance
when i fail to see the light
teach me with your wisdom
how the wrong can change to right
give my deaf ears music
give my blind eyes vivid sight
bless me with your laughter
chase the horrors of the night

catch me when i stagger
so i don't fall on my face
divert me with your comfort
when my fears i can't erase
lead me to still waters
when the ghosts are giving chase
bless me with your laughter
it will be my saving grace
