you overload my senses
and you break down my defenses
till i feel that my whole system starts to fail
.
so when i'm empty minded
i pretend that i am blinded
and i read your pretty face as though it's braille
.
i become a lot less nervous
as i contemplate the surface
of your features underneath my fingertips
.
and i do not mind confessing
that i relish this caressing
as i gently trace the curving of your lips
.
with my eyesight on vacation
i explore with jubilation
the delightful silky smoothness of your cheek
.
and then my fingers angle
through your hair they softly tangle
and the feel of this will make my knees go weak
.
as i close my eyes in wonder
it is like a spell i'm under
you're a princess from my favorite fairy tale
.
it's a banquet i am supping
as your skin, i'm gently cupping
yes, i read your pretty face as though it's braille
